This is one of the most important discussions I have seen on The OReilly Factor. Guest Host, Juan Williams, moderates a discussion about whether President Obama should be speaking out about violent Black-on-Black crime. Video of a black man being beaten to death with a board has attracted national attention to this growing problem. Reverend Eugene Rivers Pastor of the Azusa Christian Community is heard pleading for the President to make an appearance in this battle. Leo Terrell, a Beverly Hills, California civil rights attorney, argues in defense of the President. This is seven minutes of action packed discussion you should not miss.

  • This is certainly a worthwhile discussion. That said, why is Obama being held taken to task for not waving a magic wand to resolve this problem?

Black-on-black crime has sadly been happening for decades. Why is it Obama's job to fix that? I'm not saying he shouldn't do something - I'm just asking where the concern was for this issue until now.

  • You ask a good question, one that should be directed at the various Democrat Parties which control the top ten poorest cities in America. Where are their police? The black community seems to have lost control of their young black men and boys in most urban areas.

  • obama is not the king of black people just because he is black did bush respond every time a white person died no its death it does not matter what fucking race he is

  • @yankees032778 I doubt anything will change.

  • @yankees032778 well in my world, hope only gets you down so I'm not hanging on to that. I'm living my life as a leader and if the ghetto culture don't like me for that, then talk to a counselor.

  • @PopCulture20 they have that for whites too. It's just that poor whites commit less crime and have less gangs than poor blacks (and there's a lot of reasons for that, but I'm not getting into it). And there's no hurt in having a little hope

  • @yankees032778 and to be honest, I don't think black on black crime will ever end because look how many years African-Americans have come since Martin Luther King Jr died so what makes people think after the next ten years that African-Americans will be one big happy family? African-Americans have ALWAYS been a divided race because you got the preppy-educated types who don't like the uneducated-ghetto ones that are easily influenced by gang violence & rap culture.

  • @PopCulture20 dude I agree with you!! I don't think Obama is "obligated" to fix black on black crime. I think a lot of factors influence black on black crime, and as a result, it will take YEARS to fix

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS OBAMA SUPPOSE TO DO ABOUT DUMBASS BLACK PARENTS WHO DON'T RAISE THEIR CHILDREN AND EXPECT SOCIETY TO DO IT? BLACK ON BLACK CRIME HAS BEEN AROUND WAY BEFORE OBAMA EXISTED AND YOU EXPECT HIM TO PULL A RABBIT OUT OF A HAT AND CHANGE EVERYTHING???? WHERE WAS THIS REVEREND WHEN BUSH & CLINTON WAS IN OFFICE?

  • WHAT ABOUT WHITE ON WHITE CRIME?!? Jesus fuck, crime is crime. If there are hispanics around me and I'm starving, I'm thinking about me, not them.

  • I thought Obama was from Hawaii? I don't think Chicago is his "hometown". And Obama needs to focus on issues that affect the most people. Unemployment and bad health care affect WAY more people (both black and white) than black on black crime does. The problem is that if any white people talk about black on black crime (which is a HUGE problem) they are immediately labeled a racist, and they are discouraged from helping

  • @Iwobinator2014 that may be right, but whats to lose blaming it all on black people and jews anyway?
