this rig works much better than just a single jig hook. An 8 inch hud has way too much plastic for a single hook. As he explains this rig also reduces the amount of leverage the fish has on the bait. Plus this rig tucks in nice and discreetly behind the dorsal fin for extra finicky fish. Also all huds come with mustad hooks, owners are much more dependable.
