New Super Mario Bros Lost Levels - Level 1

New Super Mario Bros includes 5 unused levels which haven't got much attention until now. I call them the "Lost Levels". While two are rather useless/generic grassland levels which I won't bother covering, the other three are rather interesting. This is the first.

Tanks discovered that one of them is a level from a beta NSMB (E3 demo?).
I worked on restoring the level to a usable state.

Sorry about me going through the level so quickly, but I didn't want Lakitu to appear several times. If he appears and prepares to shoot a Spiny, the game will crash. You must kill him before he gets a chance to.

I may release a patch for this, not sure.

It's not fake. It doesn't display properly in the emulator I'm using - if I was using a real DS no doubt it would look real.

Okay, just.. lmfao.

I'm the person who made the editor, and it's not fake. Open NSMB in it and check around levels 10-6 to 10-10 - you'll find all these levels.

In the end, it worked out well, obviously. These videos did a good job getting both Treeki's name out and the fact that an NSMB editor exists. I sincerely hope that you "Youtube idiots" think twice before jumping the gun again. I've dealt with you over at my videos as well. That's my story, and I say it as a witness to Treeki's accomplishments.

Yes, these videos are real. For those who don't know me, I'm Tanks, the guy who helped Treeki out with this. It started when I noticed that the first unused level lined up perfectly with a beta video on youtube. I began tweaking the beta level file and started to get some results, but I couldn't make the final jump into true playability. The next day I showed my findings to Treeki and he managed to fix up my hackish mess and make it playeable. He then applied the same method to the other files.
