Gregorian and Vangelis - "Wish You Were Here" (Pink Floyd). Digital art images (fantasy) slides show.

Lyrics:

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

  • Pink Floyd + Vangelis + Gregorian = Heaven

  • Perhaps this extra solar world is heaven, ruled by angels of peace, angels of love, angels for forgiveness. Perhaps one day humanity will ascend beyond the lust for power, the lust for short term profit. Will be a while, but perhaps one day, we may ascend.

  • The way I view Humanity is a work in progress, we are far from perfection, and we will probably never obtain perfection, 100% peace, but we should continue to strive to better ourselves. we have alot of homework to do, whether it is renewable energy, a more sustainable method of farming, or reducing poverty, there is still alot of work. Humanity is indeed a Work in progress.

  • Ahhhhhhh, this song just sets the mood.
