Gila Woodpeckers are frequent visitors to the hummingbird feeder here in Oro Valley. They are noisy (at least the female is) and with the exception of hummingbird migration in the late Summer, they drink most of the sugar water in the feeder. This is the male. If you watch carefully you'll see a red spot on the top of his head.
