Yes I just noticed... darn, can you recommend any good engines that can support moving into the foreground?
-
So what 2.5d engine did you use?
-
I wish. I'm no video game hacker, sadly >.>

wow, could u do that to a roblox skybox? thatd be AWSOME

Hey. Since you say it doesn't work with the Sonic Rush Fever, can you link me to the original 2.5d engine in a pm? I can't find it anywhere.

Whoa, awesome idea there of the spring sending Sonic into the foreground! I have to try that some time...

Thank you. That part didn't work with the rush version of the engine unfortunately.

Nice, but it's way too short, and the background looks horrible.

please realize that this is the first complete stage I had made and that I'm still somewhat of a beginner. I think my game and watch stage is better than this one. The background has a problem because of the skybox =P

Ah, the skybox. I got annoyed with the skydome in the full 3D Blitz Sonic, so I changed it to a propper sphere instead of the usual cylinder. Maybe you should try editing the skybox.
And even though you're a beginner, I wouldn't put the goal ring in a specific place until you think you've got a nice length.
You've got some nice ideas in this level, so you're doing quite well with layouts. When you feel up to it, try putting in some scenery, too.
I hope my advice helps.

I think what happened with the goals was I wanted multiple finishes to the stage and so I got a bit lazy with the length. I added some foreground scenery but other than that I figured it was too much work at the time and thanks for the advice because it does help =D
