poor old george washington those tracks are a disgrace to racing make it proper all weather or proper turf even the turf track the breeders is shite

I know this happened a while ago, but this track is repulsive to run on. I am always suprised they allowed it...

I think the slop is what prevented Street Sense from beating Curlin in this Classic. Street Sense is the son of Street Cry. And as we know from Street Sense winning the 2007 Kentucky Derby, Zenyatta winning the 08' B.C. Ladies Classic, and 09' B.C. Classic. With Shocking also winning the 09' Melbourne Cup that the offspring of Street Cry have more than produced their fair share of revenue.

I wish Street Sense would've won this race. Depressing of what happened to George Washington in the stretch.
