  • @okletsjam1 It starts in D flat Major.

  • Does it start in a minor or C major?

  • The director directed it perfectly it was fast where it needed to be and slow and peaceful where it needed its so yah to the people saying its was too fast stop trying to sound cool like you have an idea how its supposed to sound and also its a high school choir so lay the heck off

    Go La Serna!!!!! FTW

  • and @ the people who said it was too fast, it wasnt... if you really look at the sheet music they did an excelent job... it also says to move the piece... :D

  • we are singing this in choir this year... really good job. [:

  • mmm! this song is so incredibly beautiful!! Our choir did it a few years ago, the part at 1:40 that lead up to the climax gives me goosebumps all over!! when it's done well, this was a great performance

  • I am glad that I found this posting. I went to this High School from 1968 to 1971 and sang in this Choir for 3 of those years. Those were memories that I treasure to this day as all of you who sang in this group will treasure to.

    Thank-you again for the posting.

  • nothing beats hearing this performed live by a good choir like this one :)

good job i love this piece

  • definitely too fast, but an overall good performance, work on the enunciation of the words a little. It sounded a little too American. Shouldn't have put an accelerando in towards the end of the "procul recedant..." the bass note needs to come out more at the end. Dynamic contrast was ok, but it would be better if there were more than two dynamic levels. Good work, you have a lot of good things going for you.

  • We r singing this song in our choir. It is beautiful but u guys r singing it to fast. Feel the music. Ur singing about a evil dream not a happy dream. But i like the sound.
