before it was released, sl4 was being promoted as an alternative to the Rane 68 mixer by making it possible for 2 computers to be connected simultaneously. Now it seems like they've gotten a bit shy about that point and are now promoting the duel usb as a means of transferring from dj to dj. what's the deal?
How hard was it to put an extra set of rc's so that we don't need to record our self's thru the aux and not lose the extra turntable or cdj input .Comon serato wow that is not cool and then after a year and a half here come the four which has five couples of rca what our 900 bucks go down the drain?
sl3 as a concept is fine with the line thru select via software which makes sense also the sample players on what ever forget them but the third table man if you give it to us at least give it.
Also why have 6 sample players without a sync function as if there is people that can play with 2 decks and adjust samples @ the same time even if there where a pitch adjust on the sample players what if the bpm counter where to make a mistake and one should have to manually put one in at least with the cd's or vinyls you can fine tune how would you do that with the sample players and spin records @ THE SAME TIME? Atleast make the dam sl3 compatible with ableton bridge.
Why make a 3 line system when others have 4 and up to 99 decks why not make a 4 line sound card and pose it to be a 3 line when u cant even record your self when needed? why have sample players in that same argument that require the same in /out aux port???? explain this so yeah thx for the extra hand but just realized that's not called helping if you give 1 and take 3 away ! Where is the midi in and out ports???? ever thought of that?
Although i own sl1 sl3 and used to own the ttm 57 have used rane ever since the era started i also own traktor pro and vdj i love and hate all of them they all give you something but take something away wich does not allow you to be completely free .
The sl3 compared to the sl1 has only a thru function a phono stage on all three decks but wait u cant record cause u need the third one to record your self so the mic in and thru from the old sl1 is now called aux hahahahahahahahahahahah bull ishh
