Yesterday, Me and Dan completely re-did his layout. New layout board, new E-Z track, and 3 power packs. This layout is equpe with a remote turnout and has the ability to run branch line trains and main line trains opposite ways at the same time. This layout is just the start. We are going to be installing more sidings and turnouts. Hopefully, more structures too. Enjoy guys

  • Way too cool! Do you mind if I copy your layout? I really like it how it is!

  • @ReptigloRand Thanks. Ya sure man.

  • This is cool but If I ever get anymore bachmann track I like the Grey road bed better, but thats my opion

  • @stormsirens2BACKUP Ya I don't use Bachmann EX track, but Nickel silver is superior to the steel rails because the nickel silver rails don't oxidize

  • Don't ever listen to the negatives. They are the really jealous ones. I'm older and retired and said that I would continue my HO from when I left and joined the Navy many years ago. Unfortunately no rails have been laid as yet. I wish I had your guys ambition!

  • @jacfred Thank you. I appreciate your advice. Thats awesome. Never too late to get back into it. I find that once you buy a locomotive after quiete a while, you get hooked back into it. Thanks again -Matt

  • @TheDarthEmperor For your information, I do have a regular BR based train layout. And excuse me but who are you to accuse someone of being too old for Thomas when the man who wrote the books was over 40 years old when he wrote them. also, if you are accusing someone of being pussies, then it's obvious that you are under 18 years old because grown men don't talk like that. And lastly, why are you watching this video if it's clear that both of our channels are Thomas-based?

  • You guys are to old to be playing with Thomas train sets. Get a man train set please don't be pussies

  • If you want to get more track on your 4x8 i would suggest using atlas flex track with the cork road bed, with atlas electricial switches, onley if you want. i used to use the bachmann track but now i use that and solder it up. Nice layout, i also have a 4x8

  • @stormsirens2BACKUP year mate the gray road bed ez track has nickel silver rails unlike the black road bed ez track that has steel rails

  • The layout looks great! I personally like the Nickel Silver rail only because it doesn't oxidize. I'm working on getting a layout up and I widened the curves from 18 inch radius to 26 inch radius so I have a bigger layout to work with. Lastly, don't let someone tell you you're too old for Thomas trains. I operated the Thomas trains at the local train museum and I'm 22 LOL Anyways good work guys and happy railroading!

  • nice thomas

  • Looks like you guys always have a ton of fun doing this!
