  • Way t o go Beverly. Dr's should be recommending women go on the internet or youtube - not just telling them about surgery or removal of their uterus. Diet etc - Dr. didn't even mention this to her...gad zooks.

  • After having a myomectomy, balloon ablation treatment, laparascopies, hormones, etc. My uterus is inlarged, my menstrual cycle is crazy, pain, frequent urination, stomach aches, and bowel problems. I am now considering a hysterectomy.

  • Sometimes there are other alternatives other than a hysterectomy but that's not always the case. Options depend on where the fibroids are in the uterus, the size and how many there are. If they are not on the outside (where you can use a blocking method to cut off its blood supply) or there are too many within the walls (where they are hard to find and/or hard to cut out) then the only choice may be a hysterectomy. I know because that's the position I was in...and unlike Bev, I was proactive.

  • There is a revival happening in Toronto Canada at Bethel Kingdom Ministries its spreading like a wild fire. Many people are being healed as they walk through the doors, many have felt and seen the presence of God's angels. Fibroids have also been healed through the lay on of hands and prayer.

  • Check out the procedure Uterine Fibroid Embolization. It is a 20 minute procedure, and avoids a major surgery.

  • @Jakey92407; Take co enzyme 10 daily before the surgery in order to reduce bleeding and increase recovery time.

Thanks. Yep, I have Native American ancestry too. Oh well, I'm having surgery very soon to get rid of them once and for all! :-)
