no, the art of bellydance was meant for anyone. It was meant to lubricate the organs and also it only utilizes stomach muscles. So people arn't impressed by the body, what kind of hips or curves you have, they're impressed with how you move the body and how much control you have. Ooomg, i love this dance soo much, and the music. Whats the name of the song?

You cant that you see bellydance is for everybody, it doesnt matter how you look. And i think most of you judge didem by her beautiful thin body. And second didem has her own style, i dont know what your crying about haha its really stupd because bellydance has actually many style, the one didem is dancing is called Turkish style and its a part of the bellydance so you can't come and say that the dance didem does its not a bellydance. For me its just one excuse because she is a hell of a dancer,

@chrisbellydance She dosn't dance? Hear the music didem is dancing to. She moves the way she wants to. Didem didn't got fame out of nothing. The audience loves her bellydancing. If they didn't no one would have showed up to watch her. Ibrahim would have fired her but he didn't. Thats were you are wrong. Didem is a lot more popular than asena. Didem also has more bellydancing videos than asena. After seeing your video haha, didem is a better dancer than you.

@abcd6853 lol dont worry you wont get it. Ask someone who is a Professional belly dancer from Egypt or Lebanon, see look I think she MOVES amazing but she doesnt DANCE. Dance need to be the bodys reaction to music, not just popping and Doing tricks. But anyway, we can agree to disagree :) Plus Even though Asena isnt the world's best, she has ALOT more going for her as a dancer than Didem

@chrisbellydance You wrote before that didem moves dosn't make sense and now you are writing that she moves incredibly. You contradict yourself. So what if she dances on a show? Thats not true that didem has the best choreographers doing the work for her. Didem cousin was here on youtube and she told us that didem is the choreographer of her own bellydance. Before you start to judge others for what is good bellydance and what is not, look at your own bellydance.

@abcd6853 I do dance professionaly, but I dont claim to be the best. If you want to see Turkish style dancers, look at Dancers like Nesrin Topaki or Prenses Banu...they are true dancers, one thing with bellydance - it shouldnt be choreographed. Didem has the best choreographers in turkey doing work for her, and also she dances for "SHOW" not for the feeling. Dont get me wrong, she moves INCREDIBLY, but this is not amazing belly dance...

To those who Know aboit Oriental dance (Known as bellydance) you wll find that Didem is not a profesisonal danecer, as she lacks feel and her moves don't make sense. Watch this same song danced by "Tamalyn Dalal" to see ho much better she dances to it.
