sorry sunday puncher, but they were not the same: -- A different Bass & Lead & commerical attitude - and only 10 brilliant songs compared with about 40 brilliant
Airplane songs. Times change

While this may not be Airplane technically, it is a damn good rendition of a great song.
-
The "Blows"-suite is always a treat. And the band just great with Slick Aguillar and Prairie Prince. And all-time psychedelic hero Paul Kantner still letting his freak fly. But this is jefferson STARSHIP.
-
Sounds pretty good I guess. But I would sure like to see a video of the early Starship doing this. It was always one of my favorite Starship performances - especially with Grace singing and like you know...just having her up there on stage kicking it out gave it some much needed spark.

This is "Have You Seen the Stars Tonite", "X-M", and "Starship", often referred to as "Blows Suite", here missing the opening "Sunrise".
Of course we all know this :)
Thanks for posting!

LOVE THIS SONG.......love love loe

I like this guy on guitar better than chaquico on the Blows material. Chaquico is a sound technician, but this guy is more expressive and feeling.
-
do you got anything more specific...i'm not proficient with playing by ear
-
I'll tell you right now it's probably in an altered open D tuning. That's generally what Paul and David played in.

I want the chords to this song.....let me rephrase that...i NEED the chords to this song....anyone know??????
Not Airplane for sure ...only Paul Kanter seems to be there from the originals...i think Jack Casady ocasionally plays with them as does Peter Kaukonen, Jormas brother ...doesn't sound bad though ...
