Depends on what you mean with the desert war :P If you talk about the british vs the germans in north africa and El Amain I don't think there is any song about that, yet.

At least not for what I can think of now. However the song Counterstrike is about the israeli 6 days war. And that was in the desert so :)

@Sansei255 Yes, but Ghost Division isn't about him alone. It's about the 7th german panzer battalion, who he was in command of and what's made him such a great commander which lead too that he was given command over the africa forces.

The "Ghost Division" was a battalion who was famous for attacking with speed and destruction before they escaped as fast as they came, they was feared among the allied forces and celibrated in the german high command :)
