Re: CONTEST! Photography contest!

Here are 10 Photos for the contest. I love to take pictures and if you ask my friends they'll tell you the same thing.

I rarely go anywhere without a camera because most good shots only ever happen once.

1. Red; A large prop, taken in upper Michigan near the light houses.

2. Car; 1966 Bel Aire, my friend Rob brought it to the house about 2 weeks ago to show it off.

3. Animal; Last year on a perfect day I saw this squirrel on the telephone pole in my front yard. I couldn't help but capture the moment.

4. Logo; The YT logo is appropriate and my mother was all to happy to be in the photo. I printed the logo out and then cut it up a bit. Folded it over to make it stand out.

5. Sky; I took this photo at Round Lake, here in Indiana. It was a beautiful evening and the sun made the tree lines glow.

6. House; Also taken at Round Lake. This is the view of my friends lake home. It really lights up the lake at night and boaters frequently slow down to take in the sight.

7. Flag; Taken in upper Michigan along one of the ports into Lake Huron. You may have noticed it is at half mast in memorial to one of our nations leaders passing. Sorry, I don't recall which one.

8. Flower; Taken along the lake front where these beautiful flowers capture the suns last rays thoughout the summer months.

9. Me; It's me! Perhaps the most difficult photo to ever capture is yourself. I don't normally take pictures of myself and I try to avoid others from doing the same. I took this tonight just for the video. To see that the photo would work I had a mirror behind the viewscreen of the camera.

10. Transportation; I captured this plane earlier this year while in Chicago, IL, while near the Navy Pier.

Thank you. The lake photo is one of my all time favorites. I used to have a Nikon F4 & a Fujica 35mm. They both took excellent pictures, I just couldn't afford to process the film. My Nikon took a walk & never came back so when I went to get my new camera I went digital. These photos were all taken with my Sony Mavica 5MP, my new camera is the Sony A350 14MP. I haven't went out to take many pictures other than a wedding for a friend but it already brings back the feel of a 35mm (which is great!)
