The abomination which is the catholic chrch has spent over $2 Billion dollars to settle molestation cases.

Yes, the overwhelming majority of Catholics are paying dearly indeed for the sins of a small number among them.

While the rest of the world, I suppose, are living out their exemplary, kind, loving, unselfish, enlightened, just, righteous and unblemished lives. Understandably eager to rout evil Christendom any which way they can.

@francisxcc I get what point you are trying to make. I am not saying I am perfect, but I dont pretend to be like the Vatican does. I also dont molest kids like the Catholic church does.

Its a greater sin to use God in order to committ evil and hide your intentions than to just not believe. If you believe in God just stay home and pray and worship. The church just molests kids and the $2billion payouts are just tip of iceberg.

Why do you claim "the Church" molests kids? The Church comprises mostly of ordinary people like you and me, and you well know we don't molest kids. If a few policemen are racist, we don't say the Police Service is racist. If a judge is corrupt, the Judiciary isn't crooked. If a teacher is found with child pornography, we don't say the Education System is full of pedophiles. Christ established the Church necessarily. We have no intention of leaving it, despite its (human) flaws.

The fact is by going to church you are supporting the molestation of children and allowing the Vatican to have the $2 Billion in order to settle their pedophile cases and continue to do it. By attending you are enabling. If you truly believed in god it would make no difference if you worshipped at home or at church.

You obviously have a very different concept of "god" to what Catholics know of Him. "Worshipping" at home and offering sacramental sacrifice in the Catholic Church are two entirely different things.

The Church has survived many crises over the centuries and always emerged purer and stronger from her trials. It'll be no different this time, despite the undoubted gravity of the current situation. History is a great teacher!

@agenthelios1 Public school teachers have a higher percentage of child molesters in a year than the Catholic Church did in the 40 years since this all happened in the Catholic Church. And, actually, Protestant ministers have a higher percentage as well. Perhaps you should actually do some research instead of relying on lies.
