@hibobsue your best bet is to look at the ALRC website,or the best way to get into it is to join a local club and just go along, get the ALRC year book with full regs and get a proper feel to it, no two trialers are the same because the regs are generally quite free, best start with shortening the chassis to 80" wheel base for out and out trialling, full spaceframe onto that,coil over suspension all round and a v8 which you can get for peanuts these days to start you off!
