your missing a little washer behind the outer basket maybe?
-
i was talking about the gear in the center of the basket that is pressed in on a stock one. some of the aftermarket ones are one piece.
-
i changed my basket and it didnt work still got the wobble. did u get it fixed yet or try to run it like that. my clutch sticks open soon as the motor runs for like 45 sec.
-
I had the same problem. The inner spline (aka kickstart gear) was pressed into the basket incorrectly the result leaving the gear loose in the basket causing the wobble. I had to purchase a new basket.
-
That's your main bearing in your tranny. U need a new bearing.

@bloopaexpress Moto season is about to start up so we will see once i get it to the track. Ive started it and ran in garage and cant hear the squealling i heard before but i wont be able to tell till i get it out and ride in about a month.

@bloopaexpress I replaced the basket, but what needs to be done is replace the needle bearing and both inner and outer races that support with new OEM to take up any slop/backlash

joeroberts (cbrforum.com): "that free play is called thrust and you well have some thrust play in order to keep the gears from grinding on each other.
When there is oil in the motor it well take up the play."

@mbison83 No its way more play that will just be taken up by the oil.
