@Anaconda12USA Well...The Democrats were called the Democratic Party for decades until Frank Luntz decided that calling them the 'Democrat Party' would tweak and snipe at Democrats. And I have plenty of conservative friends, we hang out at the game store, talk politics, and get along very well. And all of us recognize that anyone who calls them the 'Democrat Party' simply isn't interested in thoughtful, intelligent political discussion.

It's called the Democratic party by liberals. THis is an oxymoron since they are not so much democratic as authoritarian. Palin had it right.

I'm sorry, it just makes me angry that people really are that nit-picky and/or care that much when they choose to take that criticism by classifying themselves as a certain party anyway. To each their own, but if people read that deeply into things they deserve to be smacked in the mouth.

Republicans are a bunch of ignorant malcontents, who can be worked into a frenzy about anything. They simply can't live with the reality that they lost the election so badly. Their desperation has lead them to look increasingly insane. Their divorce from reality and retreat into the political netherland of subjective hate and fear, runs counter to the direction of the conciousness of our country. These Palinesque optics will lead them to a major defeat in 2010 and 2012. Life is beautiful
