It REALLY pisses me off when people talk about how the Yankees win championships because of their payroll. If those people who knew anything about baseball knows that 20 of their 27 championships were won when players got paid JACK SHIT! What do all you schmucks who say we win because..... of the payroll have to say about the 5 consecutive championships we won from 1949-1953 when players were again paid....JACK SHIT.. All you boston fans can GO TO HELL!!!

do you realize how ignorant you sound in that post? the yankees have one of the strongest farm systems in the majors. in addition, they aren't the only team with a high payroll that buys players. take a look at the red sox and phillies. all those teams had players that used steroids to help win the world series. unfortunately there's a limited amount of words i can write so i'm not going to get into detail.

@patriotsy2k Obviously we are going to talk about our past Championships, thats why their in the record books. Don't be jealous that the Red Sox really don't have much of a successful history. And as far as payroll, the Red Sox are pretty high up there, that means you should have went a little farther than you did....
