This song is very true! Newfoundland is kind of ruggend and cold but the people there are really warm hearted and that makes up for the bad weather and the climate.

Parts of the melody and most of the words are VERY simillar to "salt water joys", seems a bit repetative.

This video makes me homesick, God I can't wait to go home this summer.................makes me smile, I'll take her rocky cold shores over these alberta's cold oil fields any day...until I get to grace her shores again and smell the ocean breeze, this video will remind me of home thanks for sharing

I can't believe that while watching this beautiful video and listening to the good old nfld. song by Buddy Wasisname that the comments could be so vulgar on both sides. If we Nfld'rs want to protect our good name and reputation, we won't continue to respond to such rude remarks as Markdj341. It just lowers us to his level.
