You're exactly right, everyone does have opinions. Everyone is equal. You are equal to me, we are equal to Avril, and we are all equal to the man who wrote the song 'Imagine'.

And so therefore I won't 'shut the fuck up'. Yes they're trying to make money by using her to get younger people listening - but if they succeed to get younger people listening, then they will promote the song further. More people need to hear this song, young or old, because it has a good meaning.

They picked her because it's about making money off of her NAME. They know little teen twats from younger generations will see her name associated with this on iTunes & they'll buy the song because ITS LYKE OMG BYE HERRRRRR!!! We're allowed to have opinions, too. Because she's singing a song that isn't hers which was written by someone that her little bubblegum wannabe punk self will never live up to. The only reason why she & a bunch of other 'hipster' generation singers were picked to do songs like this for the Instant Karma album is so they could appeal to younger generations who can't be happy with the original song, so they need some moron blonde to dumb it down & make it 'cool' for them to listen to. =/
