@bigbob6556 That isn't ho it happened in the actual Greek mythology. In the Greek mythos Heracles was raised from the dead by the gods and then transformed into a god because he was the only one who could defeat the giants so they needed him in case the giants ever returned.

Hercules has the same strength as a god, so he can fight eventually with any of them. He is also much better trained than most of them. He could not win if they used their powers however, Ares is generally sporting and doesn't. On several occasions, Hercules is quickly subdued by electricity bolts from gods (Hades, Ares).
