http://www.finishwellfitness.com This is the quickest P90X workout - only 16 minutes to complete yet it hits all the areas of the midsection to burn the fat and tone the muscles using sit-ups to Pilates moves.
Yes this is a difficult workout and if your body is not prepared for it then you may do more damage than good. What I did to prep for it was do a completely different ab workout during my first 90 days and then moved to Ab Ripper X in the following 90. Years ago my wife and I bought an AB-DOer and what I did was go through an intermediate workout with it any day that required Ab Ripper X. Seems to have done the job since I am able to do the Ab Ripper X workout. At 44 I knew to go slower ;-)

Thx for you help... appreciate it. You are right, with crunches you have a much safer workout. Be this dude says its a workout for the whole core, not only abs. I did this workout today but instead of cycles and stuff i did lower back exercises and crunches. Bye
Hey, if you have a strong well developed lower back then yes you may be able to do these exercises and not feel much discomfort but I believe that you can have a safer ab workout by keeping your lower back against the floor and avoiding such harsh movements as the mason twist and those leg cycles which put your lower back in a compromising position. Great exercises shown in this routine though are the hip raises and toe touchers! Peace man.
i was wondering because some exsercises doesnt look healthy for me neither... this ab ripper are always after another workout. after shoulders & arms, or chest & back for example... of course you need to burn fat to make those abs visible. during this excesises he sais that this workout are also good for the core. if your lower back is well trained, do you still think these excersises are bad for lower back? peace
Bollocks, you can do all the ab ripper x you want, BUT if your not doing cardio and eating a healthy balanced diet to keep your bodyfat percentage down to between 6%-12% then nobody will ever see your 6 pack abs as the fat will cover the muscle. If your already lean then cool but overweight people should do
more cardio. I also find a couple of the exercises in this ab routine are not good for the lower back. As a personal trainer I dont recommend this particular ab routine.

isn't it weird how the top two comments are about the same thing: how the top two comments are about the same thing?
