Hi Rob! I'm been learning banjo from you for only a short while now, but I'm making good progress. Thank you for the great lessons.
Thanks, Doug (in Texas)

Woha, found out the hard way that fast also mean loud if a beginner is behind the strings. My ears are still recovering since the day before yesterday when I finally mastered all three parts and was excited to put them together. It was so fun and I managed to get to 120bpm :) Lots of thanks for these lessons. You are a great teacher. Hopefully I will recover soon so I can practice more. More but quieter.

@Wodo69 Take a wooden clothespin and clamp one on each side of the bridge. It will mute the sound so you won't be so loud.

@danny7176 Glad to hear it. The Irish make good banjo pickers.

Hi Rob, Where did you get the style of Cripple Creek in your instructional video's? I like that style more than any other I have heard. I learned it in a week and now a month later I'm working on the speed. I notice that when I try to speed it up I start making sloppy mistakes. Also after a month of playing Cripple Creek I'm building up one heck of callus on my middle finger.

@dfanman69 I am sure that everyone plays this one differently, just like a story that is passed from person to person and changes at the end of the line.
Don't worry about the callouses. It gets better.
