@metalmatrix7 almost a year and alot of people reply to me about this, thanks for the info.
-
@Verification11 that's the tires breaking loose due to a sudden increase in torque(i.e. the clutch after a shift is re-engaged )
-
@Verification11 that's the sound of the tires scratching - not a turbo's blowoff or stall.
-
@Verification11 that sound is actually his tires breaking loose. after the 3rd shift the sound is no more...
-
Awesome ride man!!!
-
@OrangeChevyII yeah i did see the video again now after u reply at my comment and the sound i heard is from the tires actually lolbut very similar to turbo sound srry
-
@Verification11 Thats a first.......but No, no turbo.
-
@OrangeChevyII how much money u spend on everything?
-
what kind of tires are you using?
At the time the car had stock Ls3 heads and intake, we later put LG stage 2 heads and it picked up another 35 rwhp, swapped over to a FAST 102 with ZERO power gain. Never made any more passes to speak of. Since then the car has had an Ls7 w/stock heads and built short block. Car ran some 5.90's in the 1/8 mile....@120. Also swapped it over to a TH400, cuts 1.3x 60fts every pass. Car is currently down for more motor. DA was roughly 2000 ft the day of this pass.

Had you gotten a better take off, cause it looked to me like the truck got off the line faster, you would have been in the 9's fo sure.
