Fiesty!

i turned over a bucket and i found this pregnant female striped garter snake
not very happy i might add... it bit me... once in this vid and once when i was taking the camera away... there teeth are mini hypodermic needles...

i got a few striking shots, then left it alone, no harm no foul

and no kidding, about the s-thing

i have 3 like this as pets (calmer tho)

as i said, it was a pregnant female (mad to start with) and warm from being under a black bucket.

the snake was about 1 1/2 ft long, (a little one) but probably would have been as big around as an index finger if she hadn't been pregnant. i have a larger one in my room (as a pet) and when it shed it's skin i measured it, 2 1/2 ft l and at the thickest part about 3in around (thats about as big as they get)

That looks a little bit to pissed off and big to be a garter snake lol but then again i'm from alberta, canada so they arent very big here
