I have been involved with My Lead System Pro for a year now and really got serious about lead generation in the last 6 months. We all need leads, right? We all need a "list". Well, before I started with MLSP, I had no idea how to generate my own leads... But let's not get ahead of ourselves...
My story... I have been involved in Corporate America for the last 18 (now almost 19) years. I graduated from college with a BSEE (Bachelor of Science - Electrical Engineering) and then went on to achieve my MBA. I always thought I would be this amazing corporate executive, achieve great success, travel the world, have a white picket fence, yada, yada, yada. I was headed down that path until 4 years ago...
I received a "cold call" about how to make serious money, working from home for 10 hours/week, etc. I did not have a clue about network marketing, had never heard of MLM (even though I live about 40 minutes from Amway Headquarters), but loved the idea of doing my own thing, being my own boss, and working with whom I want and when I want. My father had always been an entrepreneur, doing his own thing, owning his own business, but working a ton of hours to achieve success. Let's just say that being "entrepreneurial" runs in my family. So I did it!
I have been involved in this industry (part-time) ever since. I love it!!! However, I did not achieve the success that "cold call" talked about four years ago. How come? I did not know how to market. I had run out of friends and family to talk to. I had purchased thousands and thousands of leads, cold-called many of them, and spent way more money than I had ever made.
So, how could I achieve success? Well, I became very interested in utilizing the Internet to build my business but I didn't have a clue on how to do that. I knew that I needed people and more people to talk to; I needed to build my list (with serious, interested prospects). But, how would I find these "people"?
Well, I came across a video of guess who? Norbert! I kept getting these emails about tools and training and how to build my business online. I ignored them for a while and then I decided to get on an MLSP Wednesday night webinar. Things have not been the same since!
I love Attraction Marketing, Personal Branding, and am crazy about lead generation! Over the last five months, I have been focusing on Facebook PPC (a great solution and strategy for someone who has a marketing budget but does not have a lot of time) and article marketing (my blog is my passion!). I am not a "techie" by any means, but have taken some good notes, attended every Wednesday webinar possible, and have put plans into action. My motto is this... "Don't dream it, be it!"
Success in this industry does not happen overnight and there are no "get rich quick" schemes. But, if you are willing to put forth an effort, work consistently and not give up, you can achieve success. I would not have achieved the success I have today without My Lead System Pro! Thank you MLSP for all you do!
