The New Tone: A Year Of Liberal "Civility" Since Tucson

A year ago, a tragic shooting in Tucson, AZ was politicized by liberal Democrats and their media allies, who used it to blame alleged "uncivil rhetoric" by the Tea Party and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. This despite the fact that the shooter had no Tea Party leanings. Nevertheless, on January 12, 2011, at the "Together We Thrive" service in Tucson, Barack Obama used this occasion to lecture the nation about civil discourse, and talk "in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds."

This video is not intended in any way to minimize the tragedy that occurred on January 8, 2011 or disrespect the victims. The sole purpose is to illustrate how a horrible tragedy was milked for political gain in an attempt to silence political discourse, and how those who lectured the nation about civility, including the President, participated in, or stood by and said nothing about uncivil and violent rhetoric from liberal labor unions and their bosses or the Occupy Wall Street movement.
