http://www.auto-journals.com 's Nissan GT-R vs Porsche 997 GT3 RS.
The Porsche driver actually launches his car perfectly, but 420hp is no match for 4wd and 612 Godzilla power!

  • keywords. The Modded GTR lol.

  • @gmillergt3 Not really. A stock GT-R would cane a GT3 RS very easily too, yes even around a track. Of course it would then have to come in much sooner to cool off, but over any given lap, it is much quicker.

  • in this case... i think i'd still buy the gt3rs. Its freaking amazing looking/sounding exotic. However, the GTR is a beast on the track.

  • @DavidYu2007 nah! 997 gt3 rs ate gtr skyline in a circuit several times already, FYI porsches are not for drag racing, it is specialized in stability in cornering. and r those official porsche drivers?

  • @supra1722 turbo would win on a track

  • Who cares? It's still a Nissan!

  • anyone know what that GTR has on it geez that was un-fair

  • @DavidYu2007 gt3 rs is lighter but it has 40 less horsepower.... and plus it doesnt have a bunch of computers managing almost all of the driving for you... even the drift king himself said that... the gt3 rs is all man and machine and engineering excellence... u cant really compare them... unless u compare the turbo to the gtr... then it would be fair... turbo loses on the track, but would kill on the drag strip 0-60 2.6 motor trend.... plus 911s r much more fun to drive... :)

  • drag racing a gt3 rs vs gtr? lol

  • @Mclaren3054 I understand what you are saying - at this level - there is no such thing as THAT much faster. Again the GT3RS is an awesome car - it is very close to the GT-R on the track and can likely last longer without heating issues. For a one lap best time - the GT-R is still faster on most tracks.

  • @vtknight777 your reading my comment the wrong way.....i know that the gtr is faster around the track, its just not THAT much faster like you said

  • @Mclaren3054 (Sigh).
