Guild Wars FoW Forest Solo Ranger Farm

Farming the non-burning forest in FoW. Few notes:

I only show how to kill the enemies there, the same strategy can pretty much be used against all of the forest so I'll only kill a few of them.

I use a flatbow. When you use it agains the eles you'll be out of their spell casting range and they'll just use their regular attacks which don't do much damage.

The wurms generally just kinda sit there but sometimes they attack so it might be safe to kill them just in case. They die fairly fast and don't do much damage either way though but they use pin down which can be bothersome.

The spiders pop up in certain places but they're generally harmless if you do it carefully. Interrupting Apply Poison's not a bad idea as that's where most of their damage comes from.

I forgot to record the skeleton rangers popping up but they basically pop up where the beserkers are standing.

I killed the Bonders at the end because sometimes they get in the way when you try to kill the Beserkers. You can generally lure them away from the beserkers and kill them first and then kill the rest though.

Also I know this isn't the fastest way but eh, it works, and I felt like making a video of this!

Expertise: 12 (11 + 1)
Wilderness Survival: 6
Marksmanship: 16 (12 + 1 + 3)

Runes/Armor:
Marks Mask + Radiant insignia + Superior Marksmanship
Survivor Ancient Vest + Superior Vigor
Radiant Gloves + Minor Expertise
Radiant Leggings + Attunement
Radiant Boots + Attunement

Major/Minor Vigor should probably be enough.
Same goes for Marksmanship.

So i've got a ranger with the FoW farming build yea, made him tonight n the build works great, but what items am I actually spose to be farming? lol

I ahvent done it to much but ive been gettin jus trash merchant items really

@10fingerlimit It's mostly just for Obsidian Shards, but these days you generally pretty much just get a large amount of merchable junk.

I have tried farming the forest with a similar build, but I have some trouble getting past the skeletons at the entrance to the planes. The eles keep deep freezing me, which gets me killed fairly quickly.

Is this the new update that makes it impossible to get past? I see you just run past them, how is that possible?

I think it mostly depends on the spawn you get really, I was kind of lucky here. I had a few runs where I did get hit by the skeletons deep freeze but I'd try to make sure I was as far away from the sorcerers as possible.

When I got hit I'd walk away from them and then use Dodge/Zojun's Haste when Deep Freeze's effect was almost gone. Most of the times I'd be able to be out of range before they'd cast another Deep Freeze.

Not sure if the latest updates changed this though.

Aaaand after checking again, it was actually the extended main theme of that game rather than a battle theme, but still pretty!

Second song was the underwater music from Donkey Kong Country 2 for SNES.

Thanks for the advice. It must depend on spawns, because a few times I got there and the shadows and skeles started fighting. So I just ran right past. But all the other times They camped right at the bottem of the hill, so it was pretty tough to get by.
