@antfoote did they stop sellling the jap made fenders? someone told me they stopped because they were basically the same quality as the USA but cheaper. Now I personally don't know about that, that is just what I heard here in the USA.

@Gypscrew im not entirely sure mate, the quality is awesome and i know back in the day they were actually fakes so fender did a deal and let them brand them fender. theres also something about some jap strats not being allowed to be exported, again im not really sure all i know is i love that guitar :). a lot of people say usa fenders are best followed by japanese then mexican. hope that helps :)
