I don't remember God wanting us to hate each other but apparently you have some bug up your ass and the funny thing is you will until the day you die, and I hope you live a long happy life. Why hate. @ned262626 There are so many things other than pita chips to eat it with! I actually like to eat it with wheat thins or carrots. Toasted bread is yummy too. It is super versatile! Enjoy!

The most beautiful thing about food is that it brings people together. Whether its sitting around your dinner table, a cafe or at your favorite restaurant, eating creates a sense of community. I certainly am not a food historian, and apologize if I have offended anyone with regards to the origins of hummus. I spent my summers in Israel and I associate hummus with my childhood there. Regardless, let's forget the politics and simply take a bite and enjoy. Cheers and happy eating!
