People say they can't go to Heaven because some worship a statue while others are to liberal. And I think that isn't for you to judge, and you will be judge for judging others. So be careful what you tell people. God is a god of love and understanding, not a god of hate and misunderstanding. Anyway, that's all I have to say.
And that is how I know it is true. No other religion I've study had that type of proof. Now, there are different faiths out there such as Catholic, Pentecostal, Baptist, Lutheran, and so on, and I believe that we all have the same idea of God and that we are all going to make it to Heaven if our hearts were right with God and sincere.
Everything that it talks about in the Bible is holding true with current events. How could a Bible that was written over 2,000 years ago be that accurate and know such things that didn't exist before?
Non-Christian Philosophers and Archaeologists will tell you there is proof matching the beginning and all the events thereafter in the Bible. ~2) Revelations is our "end" that most people will go to in the Bible. Researching it and watching currents events taking place is no coincidence.
The only thing that answered these questions for me was two simple facts that I noticed over time. 1) The more I read the Bible, prayed to God, the more I felt connected to God. 2)After reading the Bible and knowing there is a beginning and it explains creation (but not the science behind it) and all the events leading to the next and how it is accurate with history.
And our God isn't visible, something we can actually touch, and so forth. And yet we believe? Yes, I have faith that God is real but more so that when I study other faiths I was happy with them, but whenever I read the Bible I knew something I never felt before. Something was right. I could do this on my own. All I have to do is believe that God is real and loves me, and he died for my sins? **Continued** So how do I prove that? How will I know? Are these feelings real?
**Continued** And besides that God is the only Judge out there who is right to judge us by our hearts, how we've been raised, and our actions towards others. Now, our belief isn't based off of "well, if I say it's true a fortiori, I guess" just isn't so. The reason people would opt to worship a rock is because the rock is concrete, visible, shown, and touch. The rock is well needed that people will convince themselves the Rock is God to all of man. **Continued**
**Continued** If people want to believe that a rock is their God then that is a known fact for them that the Rock is God. Which is why we have all different religions. The holy spirit will stir something inside of you when you find your religion. You can't just give them a Bible and expect them to understand it or believe that God is God and Jesus is God's Son which is all the same including the holy spirit...that is confusing, and I barley understand that myself being in Church all of my life.
OK, I agree with some of what Jesuscristo301 says. You are going around in circles. I understand what you're trying to say - only because I myself am a Christian. But anyone else who hears this is going to get totally confused, and you didn't answer anything but say what you think. The whole rock thing and Jesus thing was totally confusing. And your ending isn't good. **Continued**
To understand all of my comments you have to read the in order from the oldest to the most recent. Thanks.
