The Decemberists - ACL Fest '05 - Colin Meloy Makes Us Sit

Fuck, I wish Colin would show up at every concert I go to. There's nothing more annoying than thinking you have a great seat because you got there hours in advance, only to have everyone in front of you STAND ON THE BENCHES the moment the music starts. Being short blows. :(

You know why Colin can do it, and not Chris Martin? Because Colin doesn't seem to be under the impression that he's God. (apologies to Chris Martin fans, but his ego seriously turns me off...)

I was there for this, too. By far one of the most amazing 'crowd control' concert experiences I've had to date.

He made everybody strech togethor at a concert I went to, he can make you do anything.

Ah, Colin....so mad. Almost as excellent as Ben Gibbard.

I remember when he did that at the concert I went to. He is just one amazing man.
