This video documents Paul Grassia's story from the 1993 broadcast by Liz Walker's Special "Heroes", on Boston's WBZ-TV 4 news. The 2nd half shows Paul singing the National Anthem at Fenway's last '93 home game.
Paul G is a stroke survivor who has overcome the odds by still being able to perform as a professional Neil Diamond impersonator, and inspiring thousands of people in the process. He is the real deal, and possesses the character, the poise and the courage of a true entertainer and fellow human being that is the exception to today's norm.
I've seen him perform at least a dozen times and each time he continues to be an inspiration. Thank you, Paul, for sharing your heart and your story! Ray and I are proud ot call you friend!
