First Microburst Storm

Video taken during microburst storm on 6/5/10 at the Merrimack campus.
At the 1:25 mark I captured a great groundstrike of lightening. If you listen carefully when I'm filming through the window you can kear the building howling because of the wind. It was so loud in person!

Admittedly there are 2 points where I stopped filming and ran and hid in my bathtub. I thought it a better idea in case a tornado was really coming to be in there and not in the window filming. When the building stopped howling as badly I came out to see what was going on.

you should never, EVER stand directly in front of a window facing the wind. you should always stand by a window with the wind blowing parallel to it
