@trumpetman80 Yeah, the voicing is , from low note to high, Eb Ab D Gb. Moving up to a F9 chord (voice F A D Gb) for 1/2 a bar. I got it by doing the Davis version.

sounds like a major7 #9 , and perhaps a #11 is in there also..

I know it's a simple one, but my ear just can't get it... what's that chord vamp at about 0.32 seconds?
-
@zynnetrix i am both, there is no difference, cheers

i don't even know what to say about this....

@sysphus13 Summarized perfectly, no more discussion necessary :)

Jazz music should have the spaces of the pop, I can't believe that such music is so underestimated. Adorable Kurt!
-
The piano player kills it in this. Man!

I guess gerardmanjoue means a painter of feelings, sensations & emotions through his music
-
@zynnetrix Come on, I get what he's saying; no need to cut a guy down over something trivial
why should a painter be "more" (more of what?) then a jazz guitarist?

@zynnetrix I think gerardmanjoue was trying to say that the depth of his craft transcends his medium. I agree
