Dean and peyton are out having a good time. They're both ecstatic that they were reunited finally, and they can't imagine spending time with anyone else besides each other. However, they're plans are ruined when someone- not even a Demon- with a grudge against Peyton shows up and threatens her life with a gun. Dean tries to talk to man down, except during the time when a passerby tackles the man, Peyton is shot in the crossfire. Just as he bends over her body, extremely upset and undoubtedly sobbing, Dean wakes up to find that it is only a nightmare. He tells Sam what happened, and Sam can't really say anything that makes it better.
