wow, trimming brass with a wilson trimmer is such a pain in the ass! It takes forever. Plus your hand is throbbing from holding the case in place.

Nice!!!

how did you get the cases to be held firmly, I am using a lee trimmer set and it;s a pain as the case sometimes spins. I like your quick release set up but can't figure out how you did it.

Did you make the 3 way cutter that trims and chamfers and deburs all in one?? I have been watching this vid, I have literally thousands of brass I have to do ever so often, This would be awsome. Can you give more details to this please? I have a Lyman Lathe Trimmer. Looking at building a new trimmer with the aid of a friend with a lathe to turn on...
Is that just the stock case holder on that trimmer? I can't seem to fine anyting that looks or works like that.
Thanks
Glenn

It's the older model with the collet type shellholder. The new one has the lever with a plate type shell holder.

when he is trimming, does he just eye it up and know when to stop and measure later?? I'm very new to all this and need advise.

The trimmer is adjusted so that it will not trim cases too short.

i do the same damn thing,. but use a cordless drill, as it stops faster after trigger release

Yeah I need a cordless. Since the video I've made another brass chute out of some thin steel sheet metal to replace the cardboard. It works like a charm and just hooks right under the trimmer so setup is a snap.
