@WhiteDragonsFury NO offesne but are you fucking stupid, whos says you had to specifically use swords and knives, in FMA many implements CAN be used as weapons, anybody who is trained in fma with a good teacher obviouslsy knows this. and fighting your oppenet empty handed is less safe then holding any type of weapon, so say a gun or a concealable knife or a rock.

Your assertion that empty hand fighting is better for defense than using a weapon is idiotic and irresponsible. You clearly understand little about self defense(or spelling for that matter). Listen we are not living in then ancient world. The public is not going to cary knives and swords all over the place for there protection ,so teach that BS somewhere else and not to our Children on youtube. We have the police to serve and protect our citizens. I know they are not everywhere but thats the world we live in and the best defense is your unarmed hand combat or for the women maybe some pepper spray, A buddy system works great like I teach women. Do not walk alone,a watch surroundings

@WhiteDragonsFury Also your concept of Defensive Fighting is part of the problem. People who stand and fight with an opponent are more likely to get hurt or killed. People should do all they can to avoid conflict but I would never ever recommend anyone fight an armed attacker with anything but a weapon. Does not mean they should not train it but to teach the idea that using a weapon makes one a coward is outrageous and irresponsible.

@WhiteDragonsFury To use weapons for self defense is a crime? This is a blatant lie and you sir have no busines teaching self defense to anyone until you get your facts straight! Also your assertion that police are going around shooting people for practicing martial arts is ridiculous. Criminals are not interested in BS warrior codes taught by con men like yourself. The way to learn to defend against weapons is to train with them and then go to the empty hand applications from there.
