Gantz: the game, gameplay 4

The last part of the temple stage is not as hard in the game as it was in the manga Q_Q. Actually here I _make_ it look way too easy - when I first played the game, it took me 20+ attempts to beat the boss. Because my Hero points were much lower than the current setting of 3000. Or maybe because I suck at games ^^".
At 200 Hero points, you can barely scratch the Goddess of Mercy! I decided to save you most of the disappointment :)

You basically need any combination of: Nishi powering-up his X-Rifle, the falling columns, and the airstrike. And to save-up at least 60% of the suit+life, to throw at the goddess :).

there are so many inaccuracies in this game with the story. The katana is introduced by Izumi and Nishi is supposed to be dead during the temple story arc

The game simply gives you the power to change the story, to the way you'd go if you were in Kurono's shoes :) .

"what if Kei looked harder at the weapons provided, to see there's a katana" ;

"what if Kei saved Nishi".

You could have all teammates dead at stage#2, or you could have them all living to face the vampires.

No new arrivals as teammates, and no dinosaurs-stage - are the biggest real flaws :(

looks boring as hell. Even the weakest enemies hold out several shots by the X-gun. The enemies and the char should both die fast

i take it your american, is this game still fun in japanise? also was you playing as kei kurono or nishi? although nishi did get killed second stage by suzuki alien...?

I'm not American, and English is not my native lang; I understand basic spoken japanese. One can play as anyone from the team, you can have everyone living to face the vampires, or everyone except you dead at that point.

They need to make a serious mature Gantz game for the PS3.

Not just hack and slash games for quick money.

omg how the hell did you get hold of a copy of this? Gantz is awesome! Oh yeah and maybe it's easier because you don't get killed instantly by the lasers, acid etc. like in the anime :D

i found kishimoto's desperate special attack very useful against the Boss in this stage, specialy cuz the boss is large and any shot she hits is fully charged with the suit, so she will eventually take half a life bar on the enemy even on harder dificulties. also remember: always fire an X weapon several times charged or fully charged before smashing melee on the enemies, as it will vastly increase the amount of damage done (you can instant almost all enemies that way). works on hard also

@AnimeUnplugged I'm talking about EVERYTHING. Gore, brutal unforgiving gameplay like Demon's Souls, multiplayer online, recreating the same grim atmosphere, the intensity, touches all the themes of Gantz, etc.
