That octopuss at the information booth looks like the octopuss bartender from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit."

I'm mixed race black and white.
I was never offended by stuff like this. I grew up with the rebooted cartoon in the 90's along with other crazy stuff even controversal shows even in the 90's they showed cartoons from previous decades, I'm glad I was brought up in that era.
Stuff like this will never be apreciated by todays wimpy modern generation.

Still, this short was not immune to censorship, probably due to the black Pygmy characters.

@TheDiabloXgreenman Porque el Pigmeo que estaban persiguiendo no era el mas pequeño del mundo y fue una perdida de tiempo.

6:04 no entiendo bien ahi que paso porque se suicidan??

@ClassicTVMan81 nope, there wasn't an alternative version, they simply chose not to show an unnecessary suicide scene.

Racist and sureal...

It's ironic that they got the same voice actors and artists for this cartoon even though they use different voices and designs. Nevertheless, I would have to say this is my favorite George and Junior cartoon due to its constant gags. Granted, it doesn't have the infamous "Bend over, Junior" running gag but I think that would slow down the pace of this cartoon. It's a shame it's so rare because it deserves to be a classic.

why can't animes be like this!?! XDDDD

Man, no one could do visual gags like old Tex Avery

@cyberyanmar oliphaunt? I could have sworn that was my mother in law
Thanks for posting this cartoon. I hadn't seen it before, because from the "complete" Tex Avery MGM DVD box I bought some years ago, two cartoons were left out, due to "political incorrectness": "Uncle Tom's Cabana" and this one. It's a shame, because it's a great cartoon!
