I alway loved this song! I was disappointed that it never charted higher.

What happened to this song is very similar to what is happening to Lady Gaga's "Judas" right now. The first three hits from both the Diana Ross 1976 and Born This Way albums were released within a very short time span. As a result, the 2nd hits from both albums (I Thought It Took a Little Time and Judas) just got sandwiched and overshadowed by the lead and 3rd singles. Just as Diana did very well with Theme From Mahogany and Love Hangover, Gaga is doing well with Born This Way and Edge Of Glory.

Hi!
The song title on the "B" side of this single was "After You". Hope this helps! ;)

That is a beautiful loving song. Very sweet.

I agree. I am also surprise that this wasn't a bigger hit for Ross. This song ranks right up there with Do You Know. This is beautiful. Just Beautiful, an by fat, one of my Ross favorites.

I agree. I am surprised this was not bigger hit for Ross. This is on the Love Again album. This song ranks up there with "Do You Know"- Theme from Mahogany. Just Beautiful. By far, one of favorites from Ross.

oh yes it was a big hit in the 70's. This song and "World of My Dreams" by an equally great artist Mr. Dionne Warwick really made it to the top. I just wonder where can I find "World of My Dreams"?
One of the most beautiful songs ever ny Miss Ross! Brilliant!!

@carmelbrown55 if Iremember correctly this song was released then tee Fifth Dimension released Love Hangover that Motown decied to release Diana Ross's version of Love Hangover and that is why this song didn't make it big. I have been a Fan of Diana Ross since I was 6yrs old and I have to say this is one the beautiful song she has sang along with It's My Turn and Endless Love.
