I'm sorry, but this movie is awful. It's considered a box office failure, and it seemed to fake; Everything seemed plastic. Even the M1 Thompson SMG's the soldiers used were inaccurate; an M1 Thompson doesn't fire that fast, lol. Saving Private Ryan did a way much better job, much more accurate with even the slightest WWII nuances.

this was truely a great film. i loved it.

i was sad how everyone got blown away at the end but besides that i LOVED IT

Okay, statistically, the movie is a failure if it failed at the box office, but ultimately, it is the person's opinion on how good/bad the movie is.

mostly all spike lee films are box office failures, because most americans view him as too black. american's still want to hold on to the days of old, and because of that he is viewed as uppity. i think he is a great film maker. i've loved watching his career flourish over the years. denzelle should have won something for malcolm x. keep up the good work spike!!
