Lady Gaga Addresses Madonna 'Jealousy'

Hello there! You're tuned in to your ClevverMusic minute with me Bridget Daly. Now Lady Gaga has been getting likened to Madonna ever since she became famous, and after a few years of constant comparison, she's finally speaking up about how she really feels! Gaga spoke with the magazine The Advocate, and said there's no rivalry when it comes to the Material Girl. She told the mag, "There's no drama, there's no jealousy, there's no competition." She then went on to talk about other female artists she looks up to, like Barbra Streisand! She said, I just feel so connected to Madonna in a lot of ways, and I feel connected to Barbra, and I feel connected to Cher and Blondie and all of the women who came before me."
Gaga didn't stop there—she also defended herself against the accusations that she's not being authentic in her love for the gay community. To that Gaga said, "To say that I would use the gay community to sell records is probably one of the most ridiculous statements anyone can make about me," she told the mag. "I would say the top thing I think about every single day of my life, other than my fans, loving the music, and my family being healthy, is social justice and equality."

@davidrollercoaster Oh trust me. They can dance. Watch Janet's videos from the 90's and J.LO's videos from the late 90's/early 2000's. Just because they lost their touch doesn't mean they never had it. But besides all that, what they did then and what they do now is a hell of alot better than what Gaga and Madonna have ever done as far as dancing is concerned (besides Vogue; Madonna didn't invent Vogue but she did make it popular. Vogue dancing is awesome).

@Bigrlboi1 At least Madonna never fell in her heels. Gaga fell plenty of times wearing those death traps. And fyi, neither Gaga nor Madonna can dance. You want someone who can dance, go to J.LO or Janet Jackson. But anyway, you can call MDNA a has been all you want, but guess what? That 'has been' is still selling records and concert tickets like wildfire. Let's see Gaga stay relevant for the next 25 years and then we can have this discussion.
