@stumpydolphin I agree with you but there are other,more complex issues to staying famous .Take Slade for example,they had started to pen some of their greatest songs including 'How Does it Feel ?' ,'Far Far Away','Everyday' and 'In for a Penny' (any of which were worthy of even The Beatles) but yet these songs couldn't stop their eventual slide from the top.Today's groups take years between releasing albums and remain successful because of marketing .Slade had a successful comeback too !

@SuperRudi56 you re right , only in Denmark it was nr 1 , i was wrong , but wil you believe me when i say it s a shame that songs like ballroom blitz and teenage rampage went only nr 2 in uk ,
