To the world, love is a feeling, that dictates, destroys, then scatters,
But to me, it is a state of mind, It reminds me that nothing else matters.

To the world, love is a fairy tale, that lives happily Never after,
But to me, It is a single moment in time,
once realized
Lasts forever - and ever and after

To the world, you may be just a person, a significant friend or a best friend
But to me,
you Are the world, My complement, my counterpart, my all.
Looking back on all the things you said, all keep running through my head.
I wish you would come to your senses to realize the churning jumbles me up, every time I think of you.

You came into my life when my heart was in two,

I didn't know love until I knew you.

The day you were born, the whole world was blessed
These thoughts in my mind to you I must confess

The time has come for me to express my true feelings
You are the center of my thoughts and the essence of my being

What you have brought me I never thought I could procure
The gift of comfort, with you I am secure

For you have lifted me up from a life filled with sorrow
And made me realize there is always a better tomorrow

It amazes me how someone can make me feel this way
I love you more and more with each passing day

You brighten my days and lift my spirits
I have felt this for so long and now want you to hear it

So you may know the place you hold in my heart
You are always with me even when we're apart

I truly believe what we have is meant to be
Just open your heart and soon you shall see

What I am willing to do to keep a smile on your face
Just know that I'm here and will be always there with every pace

Tears of joy stream from my eyes
As I hear your voice, a loving surprise.

I love you when you're angry and love you more when you're sad

Ever since the day , I let you meet me

I missed you when you left
I miss you now more than ever

Making a mistake that I regret
Hoping that you are a forgiver

Without you, my life is strife
But now I ask for a second chance

Be with me and only me all my life
Together forever, an eternal dance

I wait for you as the days go by
My love is growing inch by inch

I cannot wait to see you again

My first friend once told me
Love is like a dream

Strewn rose petal pathways
And sand soft as cream

Blue green meadows
Sprinkled with dew

Whispering winds
That whisper How d'ya do's?

Tall oaks with plain shade
But enchanted lullaby's

Fruit full of flavor
Cornstalks and fireflies

I said plainly,
Tis truly a lie!

Till she picked me up gently and made me realise
I flew to the sky

I flew with your thoughts till
My cheeks were bright as day

When the moon came up slowly
The stars shooed the sun away

And soft as a breeze
My heart did flutter

When I stepped in the ocean
And slipped like as butter

For I fell in a reverie
Full of pixies and such

When Love did talk to me
And whispered, I love you this much.

I love you like cherries

That burst in your mouth,

I love you like wisteria
That blossom down South,

I love you like dolphins
Love to jump free,

I love you like tall pine
So high beyond that you can see,

I love you like a mountain
Loves to drink from the sky,

I love you as sweet gentle truth
That betrays the worst lie.

But as I crossed
The green hills so favored

It is that moment in choice
I will forever savor,

For as I awoke
In the morning divine

I saw all the beauties
In the bright sunshine

I awoke in love
And as I turned around

It was to see a smile
I have yet not found

For as love is as mystical
As mystical can be

It is my dream pleasant
That forever belongs to me.

And I made that dream pleasant just by your presence.

There were times I tried to kiss you but something told me no.
You wanted me to hold you but I kept letting you go.

It's been so long I haven't seen you
for quite awhile.


When I think of how we me met it only
brings back your smile.


I remember when I held you then and
told you we'd never part


I loved you then I love you now and
I'll hold you in my heart.

All my happiness be yours and all your griefs me mine
