In the inaugural episode of "All About Bass," host Rich Lindgren and fishing buddy Josh Douglas attempt to catch a combined 20-pound limit of bass on opening day of Minnesota's 2009 bass season.

Lindgren, a Lakeville resident, fishes regional bass tournaments and writes fishing blogs, including his own "Rich's Bassin' Blog" (http://bassinblog.richlindgren.com/) and "Bassin Insider" for the Versus Channel's website (www.versuscountry.com/blogpage.aspx?bid=8).

Douglas fishes regional tournaments as well and guides (www.joshdouglasfishing.com).

Lindgren will return throughout the fishing season to share tips and tactics for catching lunker bass in all open-water seasons under numerous conditions.

  • @HellaBass thanks. ill try that

  • @FishboiFishboi With that steep of a break, I would probably take TT jgs or other favorite baits and try to cast as parallel as possible and work them back to you, so cast as tight as bank as possible, hope that helps!

  • nice video. hey i was wondering how would you fish a small lake from shore? let's say, it has a 8-10ft slope drop off

  • If you like the Senkos, try the Ring Frys great as well, tend to not tear up as easy though

  • wieghtless yumamoto senko kicks ass thats a great way to teach some one how to fish you cant do it wrong my girl friend out fishes me 2/1 on these things all the time even from shore they also cast like a bullet they are a little expensive and not too durable though

  • when i fish and the bass are spawingin or alomost done spawnig i use zellamanders and sellamanders because they eat the fishes eggs and the bass go nuts! thats what i catch most of my good size bass with

  • Man, I thought Episode 2 would have came out by now..... Such a good first show, hope they keep this thing going!
