I'm in the process of building myself a killer MSDOS gameing rig and I cant get the 5.25in floppy drive working, ive tried everything with no success, Ive tried every jumper combination on the drives themselves and everything smees to be correct in CMOS and the cables are hooked up properly, if anyone knows whats going wrong, please post a comment or a video response on how to correct this

  • @yiffytimes I tried several cables and if I have only the 3.5in drive, it works flawlessly, I did play with the jumpers on the 5.25in drives and I got some results

  • At last one suggestion

Might be that both 5.25" drives are bad. Or it could be a bad IDE connection or a bad cable.

He could try to get one of those USB adapters that will conenct the 5.25" drive into a modern USB port, so he can read the data.
